Chief Warrant Officer 3 Lamar Webster Powell left an enduring legacy with the Lamar W. Powell Family Scholarship. Founded in 2015, the  trust provides Powell descendants the resources to obtain a four-year bachelor’s degree or four years towards a graduate or postgraduate degree. The Mississippi native desired that his family members have the opportunity to pursue higher education without the burden of scholastic debt. Here is where the road to success begins.
